The Color Fujita Scale Series--Poster #2
The second poster in the set, representing tornadoes of F0 and F1 intensity, has three tornadoes that are unusual for three different reasons. The 1989 Hodges, Texas tornado, photographed by the Storm Track Newsletter co-founder and long time chaser Dave Hoadley, is in the roping out stage, and is several miles long. It was watched by more than a dozen storm chasers. The tornado that is removing the roof of an airport terminal in Fresno, California, barely missed aircraft on the runway. The tornado in the middle touched down near Rosenort, in Manitoba, Canada on July 9, 1995.
The size is 17" X 22", and it catalog identification code is FSC1.
For the best value and display potential, this poster should be purchased as part of the Color Fujita Scale set...all four posters for $19. and Canada. US, including shipping within the USA and Canada(additional charge for shipping elsewhere).
