The Color Fujita Scale F2-F3 Poster
The upper left photo on the F2-F3 Intensity poster is a back-lit tornado
from the same storm system as the much larger photo below it. The lower
right photo is of the Enid tornado of June 5, 1966, watched by thousands of
people as it moved across the northeast part of town. It is red with Oklahoma dust.
The background for these, however, is the spectacular May 31, 1990
Spearman tornado, photographed by Professor Howard Bluestein of the
University of Oklahoma Meteorology Department(and of TOTO and IMAX Stormchaser! fame). The visible funnel is a half mile long, but may extend,
inside the supercell, to the top of the photograph.
The poster is 17" X 22" in size, and it catalog identification code is FSC3.
We suggest that you purchase the entire set of Color Fujita Scale posters if you want the best display for the least money per poster.
