The Color Fujita F4-F5 Poster
The shrinking stage of the Tracy, Minnesota, tornado of 1968 is displayed as the background photo on the F4-F5 Intensity poster. It was very photogenic. Unfortunately, it was also very destructive, and were it not visible for over 20 miles, there would have been even more loss of life than there was. The June 2, 1990 tornado pictured on the right cut a 110 mile track across the southern parts of Illinois and Indiana. Professor T. T. Fujita, developer of the Fujita Scale, considered the Jordan, Iowa tornado of June 13, 1976, to be the most violent he had ever studied. This wedge tornado, shown on the lower left, swept away every building from some of the farms it passed over. It is 17"X22" in size, and its catalog identification code is FSC5.
Although we will sell the posters in the Color Fujita Scale Series individually, we suggest they be purchased as a set($19 total) of four posters for best display and value.
