The Color Fujita Scale Series--Poster #1
The first poster in this series showcases the talent of the Fort Worth,
Texas NWS Warning Preparedness Meteorologist and photographer, Al Moller. Al and his chase partner Dr. Charles Doswell were on the chase of a lifetime in Pampa, Texas on June 8, 1995, and have both the photos and video to prove it.
The Pampa tornado was one of the most intense tornadoes ever photographed. The black specks you see in the air is debris, as the tornado passed through an industrial area. Also shown is an 1989 Beaver City, Nebraska tornado and the Wizard of Oz-like Cordell, Oklahoma tornado of May 22, 1981.
The poster is printed on heavy paper, using the four-color process.
Its size is 17" X 22" and its identification code is FSCD.
Although we will sell the posters in the Color Fujita Scale
Series individually, we suggest they be purchased as
a set($19 total) of four posters for best display and value.
