Thunder in the storm
       without light without sound
         in the distance it lingers
           strong

Soon it will be all over me
       around me and inside
creating feeling through its natural intimidation
           warnings aren't enough
             for this formation

     Falling from the sky
the bolts the drops the fear
invokes the inner spirit doesn't it
           and transfers upon the victim
             a sense of discomfort

     Bring it will
       a display all its own
         a persona of abandoned home
and a ferocity like an animal
             beaten and disowned

It passes freely over the land
       like an ogre without direction
this beast is bent on destruction
           this formation IS

     After the show
       when its fury is spent
         it will leave
           just as it entered
             with fear and curiostity
               it will leave
                 untamed and adored
                   this beautiful enemy is ours
and it is called the storm

     Thunder in the lightning
       without light and without sound
         here comes the curiosity
all the warnings are put out
so strap it all down people
               mesocyclone baby
                 is coming to town
